Here's to Another Legislative Session!
Arizona's Fifty-First Legislature begins its Second Regular Session on Monday, January 13, 2014. We're ready - Are you?
Did you know that you can sign up to comment on bills from home using the "Request to Speak" system on the Arizona State Legislature website?
The legislature revamped the system this year and purged all 41,000 citizens who had previously signed up on the old system. But don't despair, we're offering a web-based Legislative Training to show you how to work the new "Request to Speak" system on January 24 from 12-1PM. This system will allow you to make comments on bills from home. Using the "Request to Speak" web-based system, your physical presence at the capitol is not necessary, and you will not have to speak at a committee hearing in order to have your voice heard. Simply register for the training, and we'll guide you through the entire process, plus give you a refresher course on grassroots advocacy. At your request, we'll help you set up your new account ahead of the training.
