We made it to crossover week! Arizona lawmakers are now pushing as many bills as they can to the opposite chamber. That means for most bills and concurrent resolutions, it’s time to contact your own representatives. (Don’t know who your reps are? Find them and their contact info here.) There are also a few stragglers being heard in committee this week that you can still oppose in RTS and by contacting hearing committee members,. These bills and resolutions would ban books, stifle free speech, target LGBTQIA+ and trans people, privilege religion, and violate the Establishment Clause. Here’s a list of bills that will be heard this week and links to help you take action. Other ways to take action this week (and beyond): |
