How To Submit a Community Calendar Event

Welcome and thank you for being a part of our community!

Please use the button below to access the event submission form.

The submission form has the following fields:

  • Your Name
  • Your Email Address
  • Put recurring info (if applicable) into the Private Notes field. Example: "2nd Tuesdays until 12/31/23". Add any other notes for the Calendar Moderator here.
  • Event Title
  • You can add a button that links to the event website if needed.
  • IMPORTANT: Add the event host tag i.e., HSGP, FFRF-VS, SECULARAZ, AHH, TACO, etc.
    • Joint events can have more than one tag.
    • The "OTHER" tag is for general interest events not sponsored by your organization e.g., the American Atheists Convention.
  • Please add an image; preferably <= 2048px and either 72 or 96 dpi. 'squarish' works best usually.
  • Alternative text to describe the image. Helps with SEO and helps visually impaired people.
  • From and To dates and times
  • Event Description. Other links, or videos can be included here. If you want to add an extra image, please send it to the Calendar Moderator.
Tip: Make the first sentence of the Event Description catchy and/or descriptive because it is sometimes used as an excerpt. (As shown in Mini Calendar in the right side-bar or below on smaller screen sizes.)
  • Is the event: in-person, online, or both?
    • In-person: Venue name, Address (map is created for you), Directions
    • Online: Location (Zoom, Hangouts, etc.) this becomes the link text, Location Link (URL), Online event instructions.

Review and click the "Check and Submit" button at the top of the screen!

The calendar moderator will approve the entry as soon as possible. You will be notified when action is taken on your entry.

If you don't see a Tag for your organization, need to edit or cancel an existing event, or just need to contact the moderator please send an email to the Calendar Moderator.

Thanks again!
