At Scottsdale USD, a 60-Day Review period is coming up on the school’s Sex Education Curriculum. The District’s Ed Advisory Committee is pushing an abstinence-centered curriculum sponsored by anti-LGBTQ+ hate groups such as American College of Pediatrics. These groups are known distorting scientific observations to make a point against homosexuality.

How to See the Proposed Curriculum:
- The content will now be available for public review and feedback for 60 days, starting July 24th.
- Visit the Mohave District Annex starting July 24th during business days to review lessons for all grade levels (5th, 7th and 9th). Check in at the front desk and someone will help you log into the computers near the lobby.
- Take a pen and a pad of paper so that you can take notes.

August 20th Board Meeting
The district will present an overview of the proposed curriculum.
The public will have the first opportunity to make comments and ask questions.
September 10th Board Meeting
The public will have the second opportunity to make comments and ask questions.
October 1st Board Meeting
The board may vote on the proposed sex ed curriculum at this meeting. Regular public comments will be allowed.
