It’s the annual Secular Week of Action… time to take action, instead of spouting platitudes and posting.
Here are actions you can take this week in Arizona (and beyond) to make the world a better place.
- April 25, 2-4p: Help Humanist Society of Greater Phoenix and Project Humanities sort items for their Service Saturday homeless outreach distribution events. Donation drop-offs are also welcome during this event. Click here for details.
- May 3, 7:45a: Volunteer with Atheists Helping the Homeless distribution. Click here for details.
- May 3, 2:30-5:30p: Join Freedom from Religion Foundation – Valley of the Sun and Humanist Society of Greater Phoenix for Community Service Projects Day. Volunteers of all ages are needed to help our neighbors with these meaningful projects like packing hygiene and period product kits, turning plastic bags into sleeping mats, and creating uplifting handmade cards.
