We’re joined by Miles Chammah for a discussion of the death penalty: Does it violate church:state separation?

He’s  the author of Let the Lord Sort Them: The Rise and Fall of the Death Penalty, which won J. Anthony Lukas and Writers League of Texas book awards. His work has been published by The New York Times, The New Yorker, and The Atlantic, and he was on a team that won a 2021 Pulitzer Prize for National Reporting. He lives in Austin, Texas.
