But the framers failed to live up to these words.

Throughout our history we have both risen to the ideal that all people are “created equal” and yet fail to meet its aspiration.

This educational series delves into the war of slavery, which started in America nearly two centuries before 1776 and culminated during the Civil War… setting the stage for fixing the framers’ failure.
