Rob Rogers: Pushing Back Against Theocracy

Activist Rob Rogers joins the Secular Speaker Series on Friday, March 8 at noon (MST) to talk about pushing back against looming theocracy.

Rob Rogers is a committed advocate for the separation of church and state, a recognized expert on the perils of Christian Nationalism, and a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force. His activism spans various arenas, including school board oversight, progressive politics, and notably, his role as the 1st Vice Chair of the El Paso County Colorado Democratic Party. As a member of organizations like the Freedom from Religion Foundation and American Atheists, Rob is deeply committed to championing secularism and protecting the rights of non-religious individuals.
Since 2012, after the election of State Senator Jason Rapert to the Arkansas General Assembly, Rob has dedicated himself to monitoring Christian Nationalist influences, especially those pushing the Seven Mountains Mandate, a doctrine aiming to control society’s key cultural areas. His work has been pivotal in exposing the mandate’s detrimental effects on democracy and human rights.
Rob’s diverse background as a software engineer, military veteran, and political candidate for the Colorado House of Representatives in 2022, positions him uniquely to address the intricate challenges of secularism and religious freedom. He is a staunch advocate for political participation and voting, striving to steer our country toward a future marked by freedom, fairness, and justice for all.
