Join us on August 18 for a discussion with Stacey Champion, community advocate for the unhoused in Phoenix and beyond, including her work on the ground in The Zone.
Stacey Champion is the owner of Champion PR + Consulting, which has served clients locally and nationally since 2010. Champion is a well-known community and consumer advocate who has called Arizona home for 25 years. She has written for the Phoenix New Times, Arizona Mirror and other publications. Her activism centers around sustainability, environmental justice, unsheltered rights, heat-based public health threats, pedestrian and cyclist safety, utility monopoly corruption and reproductive rights. Her many love projects have helped to stop regulated utilities from disconnecting power in dangerous summer temps, save trees and much more. A self-described “mama bear” for her two children and the world, Champion uses her skills and knowledge to fearlessly stand up for the rights of the most vulnerable residents whenever given the opportunity.
